Meet Ghana’s Youngest Female Commercial Pilot

Audrey Maame Esi Swatson born 23rd February, 1997. Audrey is the youngest female Ghanaian pilot who has obtained a commercial licence.

Audrey hails from saltpond, a town and a capital of Mfantsiman Municipal district in the central region. The south of Ghana. She completed her basic education at the University of Ghana basic school.

And also completed her high school education at Ghana Christian International School located in Dodowa.

After completing her high school education at the age of 18, Audrey gained an admission in to Mach1 Aviation Academy in South Africa. Maame Esi had her first solo flight with Mach1 Aviation Academy on 4 April 2016 when she was 19.

Audrey now have his own aviation company called Excel Aviation Company and also holds a commercial pilot license to standards of the south African civil Aviation authority.

She has flown a total of 210 hours for the duration of being in school till she obtained her commercial license. Audrey have now joined Passion Air in Ghana, operating the Havilland Canada Dash 8 Aircraft.

Audrey Esi Swatson was celebrated by the Ministry of Aviation. She was nominated and honoured at The Future Awards Africa Prize for Young Person of the Year (Ghana).
